PREVIEW | Softball Hosts Generals Showdown

Presented by Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

ALEXANDRIA, La. – The No. 21 Louisiana State University of Alexandria softball team hosts the Generals Showdown from February 6 to February 8.

"We are looking forward to a great weekend," LSUA Head Coach Trent Partridge said. "We have a great Top 25 matchup with William Carey on Thursday. On Friday, we get another opportunity to play Central Baptist. Last weekend, we were able to jump out early, but never fully put them away, eventually winning 5-3. We're looking forward to playing them again. On Saturday, we face a quality team in Texas Wesleyan, which will be another good measuring stick for us early in the season. Overall, I expect a great weekend of softball."
