QUOTING COACH PARTRIDGE
"We've got a great weekend of softball ahead," said LSUA Head Coach Trent Partridge. "We open with two games on Friday against Jarvis Christian, then turn around for Senior Day on Saturday against LCU. After a few intense practices this week, we've made some key corrections on things that had been slipping by unnoticed. Excited to get back on the field and see how we respond."
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Generals (35-5, 18-2 RRAC) went 4-2 on the week. They swept Xavier and split with both Our Lady of the Lake and Texas A&M-San Antonio.
 
Jillian Howell earned RRAC Player of the Week. She hit a pair of homeruns and drove in seven. She collected four RBIs in LSUA's 10-4 victory over No. 10 OLLU. Howell added a double and three RBIs against Texas A&M-San Antonio. She is hitting .337 on the year and has driven in 25 total runs.
 
SCOUTING JARVIS CHRISTIAN
The Bulldogs are 8-18 on the season and 7-17 in RRAC play. They have lost 10 straight games. The Generals swept their doubleheader against JCU earlier this season.
 
As a team, they are hitting .383 with an on-base percentage of .350 and are slugging .366. They have scored 113 runs and hit four homeruns. Aaliyah Penalber leads the Bulldogs with an average of .329. Lesly Gonzalez has a team-high 14 runs batted in.
 
In the circle, the Bulldogs have an ERA of 6.79 and a WHIP of 2.10. Opponents are hitting .351 against the Bulldogs' staff. Arianna Lezama is 4-19 across 13 appearances and 69.1 innings pitched. She has an ERA of 6.26. Martha Alvarado is 1-7 in 13 appearances with an ERA of 7.80 over 44 innings of work.
 
SCOUTING LOUISIANA CHRISTIAN
The Wildcats are 23-23 on the season and 10-14 in RRAC play. The Generals swept a doubleheader at Louisiana Christian earlier this season.

LCU is slashing.296/.373/.401 as a team. Bella Houck leads the Wildcats with an average of .370. Lexi Bruossard has driven in a team-high 27 runs. Jordan Dauthier has a team-leading four homeruns.
 
In the circle, the Wildcats have three pitchers with double digit starts. Addison Greak is 7-5 with an ERA of 2.33, Miah Broussard is 6-7 with an ERA of 3.67, and Brooke Ross is 4-6 with a 3.71 ERA. Morgan Louvierer has made eight starts and 19 appearances. She is 6-2 with an ERA of 1.83 and a WHIP of 1.17 through 61.1 innings.
