ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria captured four major Red River Athletic Conference awards and had seven All-RRAC First Team selections, the conference office announced today.
 
Julia Kwakernaak earned Player of the Year, Kaetlyn Dunbar was named Newcomer of the Year, Madi Baker earned Defensive Player of the Year, and Trent Partridge was named Coach of the Year.
 
Kwakernaak, Dunbar, Baker, Haley Fontenot, Kilee Moody, Jillian Howell, and Haley Primrose all earned First Team All-RRAC selections.

Molly Sistrunk was named to the Champions of Character Team.
 
Kwakernaak leads the Generals, and is second in the RRAC, with an average .521. she has hit 11 home runs and driven in 57, both team highs. She has drawn 21 walks and struck out only 11 times. On the basepath, Kwakernaak is 20-for-20 in stolen bases. She has an OPS of 1.535.
 
Fontenot earned her second All-RRAC First Team selection this season. She is hitting .434 with four home runs and 30 runs batted in. Fontenot has swiped a team-high 33 bases. She has hit 16 doubles and three triples while slugging .657. Fontenot has an OBP of .523 and has scored a team-high 61 runs.
 
Baker is hitting .433 on the season with two home runs and 46 runs driven in. She has a slugging percentage of .596 and an on-base percentage .450 for an OPS 1.046. Defensively, Baker has recorded a fielding percentage of .989 with 16 assists. She has thrown out four would-be base stealers.
 
Dunbar has posted an average of .413 with an on-base percentage of .432 and a slugging percentage of .593. She has hit four home runs and driven in 53 runs. Dunbar has scored 42 times and swiped 14 bases.
 
Moody is hitting .418 on the season with one home run and 38 runs driven in. She has posted an OPS of 1.001 with an on-base percentage of.450 and a slugging percentage of .551. Moody has scored 52 runs and stolen 16 bases.
 
Howell has posted an average of .382 on the season with seven home runs and 33 runs batted in. She reaches base at a clip of .419 and is slugging .682 for an OPS of 1.101.
 
Primrose is 22-4 in 33 appearances in the circle. She has recorded 21 complete games, five shutouts, and three saves. Over 161.2 innings of work, she has posted an ERA of 1.86 and a WHIP of 1.11 with 157 strikeouts. Opponents have an average of .212 against her. Offensively, Primrose has posted an average of .355 with six home runs and 45 runs batted in. She is slugging .621 with an on-base percentage of .410 for an OPS of 1.031. Primrose has scored 33 runs and stolen five bases.
 
Partridge guided the Generals to a 43-5 regular season record, including a 26-2 mark in RRAC play. The Generals rank near the top of the NAIA in average (.394), slugging percentage (.616), on-base percentage (.446), OPS (1.062), runs scored (420), and home runs (47). Partridge earned his 100^th career win this season with a 4-3 walk-off win over Louisiana Christian.
