The Generals (43-5, 26-2 RRAC) swept Texas College across four games to close out the regular season.
Haley Primrose (22-4) threw a no-hitter in game one. It was LSUA's first no-hitter since
Taylor Spencer's against William Carey in 2023. She has now recorded 21 complete games and five shutouts across 23 starts. In 161.2 innings, Prirmrose has recorded 157 strikeouts and holds opposing hitters to an average of .212. She has an ERA of 1.86 and a WHIP of 1.11 on the season.
Julia Kwkaernaak drove in 10 runs against Texas College, bringing her season total to 57. She has tallied 11 home runs and is hitting .521 on the year. Kwakernaak is also 20-for-20 on the season in stolen bases.
SCOUTING XAVIER (LA.)
The Gold Nuggets are 15-21 on the season and 10-18 in RRAC play. They enter the 2025 RRAC Championship as the seven-seed.
LSUA swept the season series against XULA, 4-0.
Madison Winston leads Xavier with an average of .390. She has an on-base percentage of .505 and is slugging .415. Shay Angelle leads the Gold Nuggets with three home runs. Arin Dale has a team-high 20 runs batted in.
In the circle, Maia Tyler has an ERA of 3.39 over 41.1 innings. Essynce Wallace has a team-high 22 appearances and holds an ERA of 4.99.
RRAC CHAMPIONSHIP
The 2025 RRAC Softball Championship is held at Wildcat Park at Louisiana Christian University. Two games on Friday, May 2, are scheduled to be played at Generals Softball Field. The tournament is double-elimination.
Our Lady of the Lake enters the RRAC Championship as the number one seed. Texas A&M-Texarkana enters at No. 3 with Houston-Victoria at No. 4. Texas A&M-San Antonio, Louisiana Christian, Xavier (La.), and Southwest round out the bottom four teams.
