ALEXANDRIA, LA - The Louisiana State University of Alexandria softball team hosts No. 16 Missouri Baptist for a four-game weekend series with doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday at the General's softball field.

THE GENERALS
LSUA went 2-2 last weekend at the Generals Showdown, recordings wins over Central Baptist and A&M-Victoria.
 
Kaetlyn Dunbar leads the Generals' offense with an average of .560. She has registered one home run and seven runs batted in. Sophia Romero has recorded a team-high nine stolen bases in 10 attempts.
 
In the circle, Lainee Bailey has posted a 1.40 ERA and a 3-0 record over 15 innings of work. Rylee Guillot is 2-0 with an ERA of 1.75 and a WHIP of 0.88 through 16 innings. She tossed her first complete game on Saturday against A&M-Victoria.
 
LSUA is hitting .335 as a team with nine home runs and 24 stolen bases. The pitching staff has combined for a 2.48 ERA and a WHIP of 1.42 with 34 strikeouts.
