ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's tennis is headed to the NAIA National Championship in Mobile, Alabama scheduled for May 13-16.
 

 
The Generals were selected as the No. 7 seed and receive a bye in the opening round.  
 
They were one of 24 teams named as qualifiers for the NAIA National Championship. LSUA finished the regular season with a record of 9-4.
 
LSUA currently has four players ranked in the latest ITA NAIA Singles Rankings with Nahia Echaide at No. 12, Isabella Stuurman at No. 17, Ekaterina Orlova at No. 39, and Lucie Ivanova at No. 47. In doubles, Ivanova and Echaide are ranked No. 35. Esthella Valentina Gonzalez Saiza and Stuurman are ranked No. 49 in doubles.
