ALEXANDRIA, LA – Fenja Leibner of the Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's soccer team earned Red River Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced.
 
Leibner scored the game-winning goal in just the sixth minute against North American off a howitzer of a free kick. She anchored a back line which produced two clean sheets over North American and A&M-Victoria.
 
Leibner is the first LSUA women's soccer player to earn an RRAC Player of the Week award this season.
 
The Generals are on the road on Thursday against LSU Shreveport before coming on Saturday to face Louisiana Christian.
